Innovative Adjustable Clamping System for Woodturning
When we first developed this system, we believed the bed clamps needed to be fully tightened for optimal performance. However, through extensive use and testing, we discovered a better approach: leaving the clamps just snug. This adjustment ensures the system remains securely in place while being effortlessly adjustable as needed.
Designed with versatility in mind, this system offers three-directional adjustability, a feature unparalleled in the market. This flexibility allows you to position it exactly where you need it, making it the perfect companion for any stage of your woodturning projects. Whether you’re working on intricate details or larger pieces, this system adapts to your needs, enhancing both convenience and precision.

CFM MATTERS:
- Based on our testing, this system works well with a 2HP, 1500 CFM or higher dust collector or cyclone equipped with 4” tubing.
- Option available for Wet/Dry vacs with 2.5" hoses.
- Does not work with smaller hoses.
- Maintain your system:
- Empty Bins Regularly: Overfilled bins reduce suction efficiency and can clog your system.
- Check for Clogs: Inspect ducts and hoses for blockages, especially after handling softwoods or resinous woods.
- Inspect Seals and Filters: Make sure everything is airtight and functioning correctly.
Personal Protection is Still Important
- Even with a dust collection system, always wear a respirator or dust mask rated for fine dust particles when turning or sanding.
- A dust collection system is an essential investment for woodturners, offering benefits that extend beyond keeping your workspace clean.
Health Protection
- Respiratory Safety: Wood dust, especially from certain species, can cause respiratory issues like asthma or other allergic reactions. A dust collection system captures fine particles that would otherwise linger in the air.
- Exposure to Harmful Substances: Some woods produce toxic dust, and long-term exposure can lead to serious health problems.
Improved Safety
- Reduced Fire Risk: Accumulated wood dust is highly flammable. A dust collection system minimizes the chance of ignition from sparks or friction.
- Less Slippery Surfaces: Dust settling on the floor can create a slipping hazard.
Cleaner Workspace
- Better Visibility: Less dust floating in the air means clearer visibility, which helps you focus on precision tasks.
- Easier Maintenance: A clean workspace reduces the time spent cleaning up.
Sustainability
- Dust collection makes it easier to manage waste. Captured shavings can be repurposed for mulch, compost, or other creative uses.
Disclaimer: A dust collection system is a helpful tool but is not a substitute for proper protective equipment. Always use appropriate safety measures, such as respirators or masks, to protect yourself from dust generated during woodturning.
