THE STORY:
Kerry made his own tool holder many years ago so that his favorite tools were within an arm's reach. Since he uses all the Simple Woodturning Tool line, this had to be sturdy and make cutter identification easy. It worked out so well for him that he wanted to share it with his fellow woodturners. His original holder as you can see is a little different, but he wanted to create one that could be customized for each woodturner's favorite tools. That is why he has created the Simple Woodturning Tool Holder.
THE NEW SIMPLE TOOL HOLDER
These versatile tool holders provide an efficient and customizable solution for organizing your workshop. Designed to accommodate a range of tool sizes, they are available in black, red, white, and blue options, each tailored to fit specific tool dimensions and handle colors.
- The black holders are ideal for full-sized 26.5-inch tools with black handles, featuring a 1-3/8" inside diameter, while the red holders suit mid-sized 19-inch tools with various colored handles, offering a 1" inside diameter. For smaller Simple Start or pen-sized 12-inch tools with silver handles, the white holders are perfect.
- Additionally, the blue holders cater to nine unhandled tools, securing them in an upright position for quick identification.
Crafted from durable PETG plastic, these 3D-printed holders can be easily secured to a workbench or table with the included screws, or glued together for a solid, personalized tool rack. This modular system allows you to arrange your tools according to preference, ensuring a tidy and efficient workspace.
