Tool 1 - Simple Scraper I - Perfect for finishing long straight lines, shaping bowl walls and creating flat bottomed bowls and boxes (comes with rectangle cutter)

This is a specialty tool created for steep or straight inside walls of a bowl or box or for finishing the outside bottom of the bowl with tailstock support!


Tool 3 - Simple Scraper III - For shaping the inward lip and inside bowl and for shaping between the headstock and bottom (comes with oval cutter)

Combining this tool with SS I & II allows you to reach virtually all the inner and outer walls on any turned project, as well as both sides of the bottom, regardless of how it is oriented on the lathe. 

 


Tool 4: Simple Scraper IV - Hollowing, Shaping and Finishing Tool (12" length)

  • Reach deeper into bowl and boxes to create flat bottoms and square corners.
  • Recommended to bundle with our flat scraper tool rest to minimize tool overhang and improve surface finishing.
  • When combined with the 17" long foam grip handle, this becomes a beefy 26.5" long tool ideal for great leverage and control.
  • This tool works in the Simple Hollowing System for extended reach vs Simple Scraper I.

  • Carbide cutter size: 1.18" x .50" x .10" thick
  • Tool measures 1" wide x 3/8" thick x 8" long. Handle tang is 3/8" square (fits in 1/2" hole) x 2.5" long, so tool length once it's in the handle is 5.5". (Simple Scraper IV is longer at 12" overall with 9.5" tool length when in the handle)
  • Handle Options:
    • With Full Size Handle with Foam Grip - Tool and handle length is 22". (Simple Scraper IV is 26.5" long)
    • Fits Simple Hollowing System with standard 1/2" tool holder.
    • Unhandled if you'd like to turn your own handle.
    • Does not fit mid size handle. Requires handle with 1/2" dia hole.

  • ALL orders shipped through the USPS are not guaranteed to be delivered within the window that they promise. The USPS does not offer guanranteed delivery on Priority Mail packages, so we will not issue postage/shipping refunds if they do not deliver on time.   • We ship worldwide either with the USPS or UPS.
  • International orders: Shipping cost will be calculated during checkout and will NOT include your local duty and/or customs fees. If you choose UPS, they will not deliver until these duty/taxes are paid.

I'm a local customer, can I pick up my order?

  • Yes you can. We just need time to pack your order. Please place your order online and add notes during checkout that you want to pick up the order. Usually pickup orders are ready the next day. Orders placed before 10am CST may be ready the same day. We will contact you when ready.
  • Our pickup hours are Mon-Thurs 8:30 am - 4:00 pm. Friday 8:30 am - Noon. 
  • Pickup Address: 7101 143rd Ave NW Suite O Ramsey. We are in the Energy Business Park located just off Highway 10. Please look for 'Harrison Specialties' on the sign outside the front door.
